This experience takes us to the steepest landscapes and the most historically isolated territories of Jaén, preserved in the oil of centuries.

They proudly offer us, for us to taste, their abundant fruits of the field and the orchard; among border lands dotted with heritage, olive trees on impossible slopes, streams, mills and fertile valleys. An artisanal and local olive oil tourism.

09:30 h: Visit to the Virgen del Perpetuo Socorro co-op (Al- caudete):
- Visit to the oil mill and museum.
- Visit to the Interpretation Center: Qualities and Uses of Olive Oil and health.
- Miller’s breakfast.
- Store visit.

- OPTION A Visit to Oil Museum – Alcalá la Real
  - Visit to the museum.
  - Walk among olive trees.
  - Tasting of EVOO-made products.
  - Visit to the store.
- OPTION B Visit to Luis Cano Fuentes E Hijos, S.L. oil mill – Ermita Nueva (Alcalá la Real)
  - Visit to the olive grove.
  - Visit to the oil mill facilities.

09:00 h: Client reception at Grupo Thuelma, en Ctra. A-401 Km 49 Huelma, where the morning activities will take place.
- Introductory talk.
09:30 – 13:00 h: Visit to Traditional Museum (traditional oil mill):Thuelma Group.
- Visit to the oil mill.
- Tour of the olive grove.
- Oil tasting.
13:00 h: Transfer.
- Lunch at client’s choice of restaurant in the towns of Jódar, Albanchez, Bélmez or Larva.

16:00 h:
- Option A: Visit to Albanchez Castle, 14th-century construction with panoramic views of the whole region.
- Option B: Visit to the Castleand the Caves of Jódar. In the charming town of Jódar you can visit the 13th-century defensive castle and its rock-excavated cave. Midway through the 20th century there were more than 400, a few of which are still preserved.
- Option C: Visit to Bélmez.
  - Faces of Bélmez Interpretation Center. . Through its graphic and visual media you will get to know this phenomenon that started in the 70s and its mediatic repercussions through the years

09:00 h: Traslado a Martos, en la Sierra Sur de Jaén, que desde hace décadas es el pueblo con la mayor extensión de olivos del mundo, por sus especiales condiciones climáticas, su orografía. la composición de su suelo.

10:00 h: Visita a la Sociedad de Cooperativa Andaluza San Amador, Martos. Los olivares que nutren su almazara son de la variedad picual o marteña:
- Visita al Centro de interpretación: “El aceite de oliva: tipos de aceite de oliva y calidad de los mismos”.
- Presentación de AOVES.
- Visita a la almazara.
- Desayuno molinero en la bodega.
12:30 h: Visita al Cortijo El Madroño, Martos. Entre un mar de olivos encontramos este cortijo del siglo XIX en plena ruta Nazarí.
- Visita al cortijo.
- Visita al museo.
- Paseo entre olivos.
- Degustación de aperitivos a base de AOVES.
- Opcional: Espectáculo ecuestre y flamenco.

Sierras de Cazorla y Segura (en)

De los espacios de oleosalud y bienestar de la Sierra de Cazorla a los olivares de montaña en la Sierra de Segura, esta experiencia nos lleva por la naturaleza más protegida y emblemática de Jaén. Hallaremos en el camino los paisajes más agrestes y escarpados de Jaén, condimentados con la buena mesa y la cocina serrana, donde el aceite de oliva virgen siempre es el protagonista.

Itinerario 1

Iniciando por Sierra de Cazorla

Día 1

Sierra de Cazorla

Recepción de los clientes en Oficina de Turismo de Cazorla. Bienvenida e información sobre la experiencia. Mañana – Opción A

09:30 horas: Visita a la empresa de oleoturismo Olearum, en el casco histórico-artístico de Cazorla.
- Presentación de aceites y cata.
- Visita a oleotienda.
- Desplazamiento al olivar y visita a los olivares centenarios “Acebuches de las Hoyas”, en La Iruela o en Cazorla
- Traslado a almazara en la comarca.
- Regreso a Cazorla y cata guiada de aceite de oliva en sala.

Mañana – Opción B

09:30 horas: Traslado a Oleotur Cazorla (Aceites Cazorla SCA), en Cazorla.
- Visita al museo.
- Visita a almazara.
- Presentación de aceites y cata.
- Desayuno molinero.

Campiña Norte y El Condado (en)

Esta experiencia trashumante nos lleva a conocer algunos de los paisajes, las almazaras y las tradiciones más emblemáticos de la Campiña Norte. El museo Terra Oleum nos sumergirá en los secretos del olivar. La amplitud de la Campiña da paso al ondulado Territorio-Museo de El Condado, entre desayunos molineros y miles de años de patrimonio de todas las culturas.

Mañana – OPCIÓN A

10:00 horas: Visita a algunos de los establecimientos más emblemáticos de óleoturismo en el entorno de la Campiña Norte de Jaén: Aires de Jaén, Oro Bailén, Aceites Padilla o Picualia.
- Visita a la almazara. Visita al olivar propio. Cata de aceite. Visita a óleotienda.
14:00 horas: Comida en el restaurante elegido, en Bailén o en Baños de la Encina.

Mañana – OPCIÓN B

10:00 horas: Visita a Museo Terra Oleum, cata de aceite.
- Visita cultural a Mengíbar.
14:00 horas: Comida en el restaurante elegido, en Bailén o en Baños de la Encina.

Tarde – OPCIÓN A

16:30 horas: Visita cultural a Baños de la Encina (Castillo de Burgalimar, centro histórico de origen medieval, ermita de Jesús del Llano con su Camarín Barroco, molino del Santo Cristo).

11:30 horas: Visita a la almazara Aceites Nobleza del Sur, Castellar.
- Charla introductoria.
- Visita a la almazara.
- Recorrido por uno de sus olivares más cercanos.
- Cata de aceite.
- Visita a óleotienda. Duración: 2h 30 min (1h charla y visita por la almazara, 30 min “coffee break”, 1h recorrido por olivar y cata de aceite.

Mañana – Opción B

10:00 horas: Visita a alguno de los Centros de Interpretación o Museos de “Condado Jaén: Territorio Museo”.

- Paseo por el casco urbano de Castellar . Santuario ibérico de la Cueva de La Lobera. Museo Ibérico de Castellar. Iglesia ex Colegiata de Santiago Apostol.

16:30 horas: Traslado y paseo por el casco urbano de Chiclana de Segura (casco urbano medieval, casas cueva, mirador y Centro de Interpretación del poeta Jorge Manrique, Plaza Mayor).

19:30 horas: Visita al paraje Huellas de Dinosaurio de Santiesteban del Puerto.

16:30 horas: Visita a las Construcciones en Piedra Seca, Patrimonio de la Humanidad, de Sorihuela del Guadalimar.

- Oleoescuela: breve formación oleícola.

- Visita a oleotienda. Duración: 3h (1h visita al olivar con guía, 30 min “coffee break”, 30 min breve formación en oleoescuela, 30 min cata con maridaje).

- Paseos a caballo con monitor, paseo en coche de caballos, aula hípica.
- Observaciones ornitológicas, telescopio para observaciones astrológicas, tiro con arco, preparación de barbacoas al aire libre…
- Turismo taurino, capea y tentadero, visita a las instalaciones ganaderas.

The region of Sierra Mágina is intertwined between the Cordilleras Béticas and the Guadalquivir valley, where abrupt mountainous areas meet flat countryside.

the route of the Guadalquivir and the penetration of valleys and streams have led it to be inhabited since time immemorial. They are generally small towns. Jódar and Huelma stand out as the towns with the largest number of inhabitants. The mountainous landscape of the region has historically marked its isolation, the massif acting as a natural obstacle to contact, which in turn has led to the preservation of its own cultural traits.

Olive cultivation is the main economic activity, with a decisive role in the preservation of cus- toms. The D.O. Sierra Mágina for the extra virgin olive oil, has revalued this sector; contributing to the commercialization of own brands, emphasizing the ecological oil, and contributing value to the rich and varied gastronomy. The cultivation of fruit trees, vegetables and extensive sheep and goat farming have always been present as minor economies. In addition to the natural heritage, the historical-cultural heritage is marked by traditions, esparto grass handicrafts, soaps and perfumes that each village has preserved since ancient times.
