Located as an excellent viewpoint of the sea of olive trees, 932 metres above sea level, it features white houses and its location, at the foot of the rocky hill El Escribano.
The town is located on the same rock and around the fortress, surrounded by the typical urban landscape of La Iruela, sloped and narrow streets, small white houses, and balconies with pots and vines. The typical landscape is a fusion of olive and pine trees.
