The Natural Monument Bosque de la Bañizuela is characterized by its uniqueness as an island forest in which the Mediterranean sclerophyllous forest is perfectly represented and, despite its small size and being located in a dry ombroclimate, it has a large number of species of unique beauty, typical of sub-humid climates.

It has a small area of 2.32 ha in which you can see gall oaks and an undergrowth formed by durillo, oleander, kermes oak, yellow jasmine, honeysuckle, and the interesting legume called espantalobos.
