The Regulatory Council of the Sier- ra Mágina Denomination of Origin certifies the origin and quality of the extra virgin olive oils produced in our region, located in the province of Jaén.
These EVOOs come from the picual variety, have an aroma of tomato and fresh grass, balanced flavor, and are an essential component of Mediterranean gastronomy, ideal for raw use and for cooking and dessert pairings. The numbered back label of the Regulatory Council is a guarantee of quality for these extra virgin oils.
The CRDO has in its facilities: Interpretation Center, training and conference room, laboratory, store, tasting room, photography exhibition, exhibition of bottles, posters with information about the manufacturing process, offices and administration. The oil mill is located a few meters away and the olive grove just behind it.
