The Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Nuestra Señora de los Remedios is located in the town of Jimena and was founded in 1976. It currently has 710 members and has an average production of around 15 million kilos of olives.
It packs under the brand Oro de Cánava with which they have won numerous awards in recent years such as Jaén Selección 2012, 2013 and 2018, Premios Alcuza 2012. 2013, 2017 and 2018, or Premios Alimentos de España 2012. In addition, with their 2018 EVOO they are in the top 10 of the Iberoleum list, they have the Terra Oleum award, the Mezquita award, or the award of the Valencian Tasting School to the best co-op in Spain.
