Exclusively by mechanical procedures: milling, centrifuging, decanting and filtering. Of the oils obtained, “Extra Virgin Olive Oil” is the best quality and superior category, as it maintains irreproachable qualities, both analytical and sensory. 

Its aroma and flavor reproduce those of the olives from which it comes and contains all the healthy and nutritional attributes of this exceptional natural product. The Andalusian Co-op Society Jesús del Gran Poder was founded in 1965 in the town of Noalejo, after the founding members acquired a modest private olive mill. 

This municipality, land of olive groves and beautiful landscapes, is located in the extreme south of the province of Jaén, on the border with the province of Granada and in the beautiful region of Sierra Mágina, and its municipal district is known as the “land of the quarrels” due to the continuous disputes between the two provinces to appropriate the jurisdiction and sovereignty of the old entailed estate.

The Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Nuestra Señora de los Remedios is located in the town of Jimena and was founded in 1976. It currently has 710 members and has an average production of around 15 million kilos of olives.

It packs under the brand Oro de Cánava with which they have won numerous awards in recent years such as Jaén Selección 2012, 2013 and 2018, Premios Alcuza 2012. 2013, 2017 and 2018, or Premios Alimentos de España 2012. In addition, with their 2018 EVOO they are in the top 10 of the Iberoleum list, they have the Terra Oleum award, the Mezquita award, or the award of the Valencian Tasting School to the best co-op in Spain. This entity, one of the most recognized co-ops in the region, belongs to the interóleo group.

Julio López, Joaquín Fernández, Martín Jiménez, Rafael Moreno … and so on, up to 634 small farmers from Torres, a small village in Sierra Mágina, in the heart of the olive-growing area of the province of Jaén. In 1971 we joined together in a co-op with a common objective: to create a picual olive oil of which we could be proud because it would match the quality of our mountain olive trees which gives the oil a fresh taste that the trees in the plains do not have. Thus Señorío de Camarasa was born, a gourmet and traditional oil, with a price adapted to everyone’s reality.

By a large group of olive growers, to the need to defend their agricultural production by set- ting up their own olive oil industry. That initial germ was expanding year after year, both in the number of associated olive growers and in the oil production capacity.

Aceites Oleobercho is the olive oil brand of the co-op Santa María de Pegalajar (Jaén). In our mill we are experts in extra virgin ol- ive oil since 1968.

Our maxims are the tradition of the olive grove, the roots of our land and the produc- tion of a healthy olive oil with an unmistak- able flavor, the flavor of the picual oil from the region of Sierra Mágina.
