Tower of Infante

Built in the 14th century by Infante Don Enrique, and it is located in the highest and most strategic point of the Port of Tíscar

The tower of Infante Don Enrique, also known as the Tower of The Port of Tíscar, or the Castle Tower fo Fique, was built in the 14th century by Infante Don Enrique, and it is located in the highest and most strategic point of the Port of Tíscar (previously known as the Ausín Port), 1,189 metres above sea level.

From the top of this watchtower one can see the Castles of Tíscar and Quesada, the plains of Pozo Alcón, Sierra Nevada, and the valleys of the Extremera, Béjar and Majuela rivers, up to the towns of Úbeda, Baeza, Torreperogil, Santo Tomé, Villacarrillo and lznatoraf.
